This year the PGP has not had badges made to raise money for the charity......... but we have a cunning plan!!!!!

We have for sale (trumpet fanfare) keyrings, not any old keyrings but extra special LUCKY keyrings........ read on folks.

Now this is the front of the keyring on the reverse is where the luck comes in; as well as the PGP appeal and logo is a number....... a potententially lucky number. Whenever a keyring is sold a note will be taken of the number and purchasers name and then...........

on the evening of the PGP's Dinner Dance, which is November 28th 2009, a draw will take place the lucky number drawn will recieve a cash prize guaranteed to be more than £19-99p.

Each keyring will be sold for the extremely low sum of £1-00, so get buying folks before they sell out.

What a great evening the PGP and I had last night curtesy of 1 of the local Lodges; Elizabethan 10430. They had organised a meal at a local pub and by golly the food was good!!!!

The establishment was The Furlong, Furlong Road Tunstall, I would like to add our special thanks to Jacqui and Mick Webb and all the staff, as the service was superb. I must say special thanks to Jacqui for the kind donation for the raffle to be held at the PGP's dinner later in the year. The only drawback to the entire evening was the fact the portions were so large that I could not find room for 1 of the delicious deserts on offer !!!!!

Thought I would add a little to the last post to reassure you my talents do not just lie with Buffalo pictures. The pictures are all burnt into wood and come ready to hang.

If you do require something special burning please allow 7 days from day of ordering; plaques all measure approx 8 1/2 by 7 inches

I also have a limited number of small oval plaques which can be used as door signs or just as a decorative plaque.

Don't forget every penny raised will be given to the PGP Appeal so please support Norman if you can

Membership of a Lodge of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes is open to all adult males without distinction as to social position, religious faiths or political beliefs. Before a candidate is accepted, he has to convince the members of the Lodge in which his application is made that he is a loyal citizen and that he is genuinely desirous of taking part in our work.
The conception of Brotherhood is firmly based on the family principle, that the
total power and strength of the family shall be available to the individual in
accordance with his need, but the point must be made at once, that the degree to which needs can be met depends entirely on the loyalty to that principle of each member of the family.
The R.A.O.B. has four degrees of membership = First Degree, known as a Kangaroo (don't ask why),
Second Degree or Certified Primo, Third Degree or Knight Order of Merit and Fourth Degree or Roll ofHonour. The Second Degree is awarded as result of a mixture of time, attendance and an examination on the ability to take the cha ir of a Lodge while third and fourth degrees based on length of membership and a proven attendance record. Provincial and Grand Lodge honours are not the gift ofthe Chief Officer of the Province or Grand Lodge. To gain such honour the member must have represented his Lodge as delegate to P.G.L. or represented his Province as a delegate to Grand Lodge, and again after length of service and attendance qualifications, he must have been elected by popular vote to the Office.

On Sunday 18th January 2009 there will be a meeting at Cobridge Coronation Club of the 4 Shires Lodges.
On the 18th January 1998 the Bohemian Lodge, North Staffs Province was tripled with the Premier Lodge, North Staffs Province and the Integrity Lodge,North East Cheshire Province. In 2008 the Cheshire Cheese Lodge Stockport & District Province joined the meetings of the three lodges and now we meet with four lodges, 4 times a year.

Cobridge Coronation Club is where The Bohemian Lodge meets each Sunday at 12 md and is at 75 Mulgrave StStoke-on-Trent, ST1 5JS01782 214093

This is the first posting for the site. Norman, my husband (the guy on the left)is this years PGP and we are hoping to raise a large amount for a local charity, during the course of the year. The charity has not been decided yet but as soon as the choice has been made we will let you know.
